Barbara Zorman: Lepe slikanice: literatura v slovenskem filmu med leti 1948 in 1991. Jezik in slovstvo. 6/2008. 3–22.
Prispevek predstavi dejavnike, ki so v širšem smislu pogojevali razmerje med filmom in literaturo, v ožjem pa izbiro literarnih predlog in njihovo filmsko interpretacijo na Slovenskem med letoma 1948 in 1991, obenem pa nakaže prevladujoče tematske kategorije ekranizacij v tem obdobju.

Barbara Zorman: Beautiful Picture Books: Literature in Slovene Film between 1948 and 1991. Jezik in slovstvo. 6/2008. 3–22.
The article presents the factors that have conditioned the relationship between film and literature in a broad sense, while in a narrower sense conditioning the selection of literature on which film is based and its filmic interpretation in Slovenia between 1948 and 1991. The prevailing thematic categories of literature interpreted in film during this period are also highlighted.



Leja Forštner: Izidor Cankar in Anton Ocvirk kot začetnika osebnostnega intervjuja na Slovenskem. Jezik in slovstvo. 6/2008. 23–35.
Žanr intervju je danes najbolj natančno opredeljen v novinarski terminologiji, in sicer kot značilna oblika novinarskega sporočanja, prepoznavna zlasti po svoji zunanji strukturi, ki se je (takšna, kot je določena v sodobni teoriji) dokončno izoblikovala na straneh slovenskega medvojnega periodičnega tiska, vendar pa je to besedilno vrsto kot prvi v slovenski kulturni prostor vnesel (literarno)umetniški znanstvenik in ustvarjalec Izidor Cankar v zbirki svojih pogovorov s (takratnimi) slovenskimi umetniki, Obiskih (1920). Podobno delo je pod naslovom Razgovori (1933) kasneje objavil tudi Anton Ocvirk, ki je v njih prav tako ustvaril ne le zgodnejši, ampak enako kot Cankar tudi poseben (osebnostni) tip tega žanra.

Leja Forštner: Izidor Cankar and Anton Ocvirk as the Beginners of the Personal Interview in Slovenia. Jezik in slovstvo. 6/2008. 23–35.
The genre of the interview is today most precisely defined in journalistic terminology as a characteristic form of journalistic reporting, recognisable primarily by its external structure, which achieved its final form (as determined in contemporary theory) on the pages of Slovene interwar periodical press. However, as a textual type the interview was first introduced into the Slovene cultural sphere by the (literary) arts scientist and artist Izidor Cankar, in his collection of interviews with Slovene artists of the time, Visits (1920). A similar work, entitled Dialogues (1933), was later published by Anton Ocvirk. With this work, Ocvirk not only created an early type of the interview genre but, like Cankar, he also created a special (personal) type.



Milena Mileva Blažić: Aplikacija teorij pravljic na primeru Lepe Vide v slovenski mladinski književnosti. Jezik in slovstvo. 6/2008. 37–56.
V razpravi je predstavljenih sedem različnih teorij, ki se ukvarjajo s preučevanjem ljudskih pravljic. V začetku 20. stoletja sta prevladovali dve teoriji, in sicer folkloristična (Antti Aarne, Stith Thompson) in strukturalistična (Vladimir Propp). V drugi polovici 20. stoletja je slogovno-literarna teorija Maxa Lüthija pomembno vplivala na nadaljnje raziskave v Evropi. V drugi polovici 20. stoletja se je nadaljevalo zanimanje za pravljice in psihoanalizo (Sigmund Freud). Psihoanalitična teorija Bruna Bettelheima je postala popularna, obenem tudi kritizirana zaradi povezovanja modela ljudske pravljice s spolnostjo. Različna pogleda znotraj psihoanalize sta razvila tudi Carl Gustav Jung (arhetipi v pravljicah) in Marie-Louise von Franz (arhetipi žensk), ki je svoj pristop eksplicirala predvsem na ljudskih pravljicah. Sociološki pristop Jacka Zipesa je postal vodilen v 80. in 90. letih ter je pomembno vplival na razvoj feminističnega pogleda na model ljudske pravljice in študije spolov. Predstavnice feministične teorije so Maria Tatar, Marina Warner in Clarissa Pinkola Estés. Za slednjo je značilno feministično preučevanje z izrazitim poudarkom na arhetipih. Ne obstajajo čiste teorije, ampak vsaka izmed navedenih združuje različne poglede. Motiv Lepe Vide v slovenski mladinski književnosti je eden izmed pomembnih nacionalnih motivov. V slovenski mladinski književnosti in pri književnem pouku se uporabljajo 1) ljudska pesem Mlada Vida (Ihan), 2) Lepa Vida (France Prešeren), 3) Lepa Vida v akciji (Andrej Rozman Roza) in 4) ljudska pravljica Kraljevič in Lepa Vida.

Milena Mileva Blažić: The Application of Theories of Fairy Tales in the Case of Beautiful Vida in Slovene Young-Adult Literature. Jezik in slovstvo. 6/2008. 37–56.
Seven different theories are presented in the discussion, all treating the study of folk fairy tales. At the beginning of the 20th century, two theories were predominant: the folkloristic theory (Antti Aarne, Stith Thompson) and the structuralist theory (Vladimir Propp). In the second half of the 20th century, the stylistic-literary theory of Max Lüthi had an important influence on further research in Europe. The interest in fairy tales and psychoanalysis (Sigmund Freud) continued in the second half of the 20th century. Although the psychoanalytic theory of Bruno Bettelheim became popular, it was also criticised for connecting models of folk fairy tales with sexuality. Within psychoanalysis differing views were also developed by Carl Gustav Jung (archetypes in fairytales) and Marie-Louise von Franz (archetypes of women), who in her approach primarily elucidated folk fairy tales. The sociological approach of Jack Zipes became predominant in the 1980s and 1990s, and had an important influence on the development of the feminist perspective on the model of folk fairy tales and the gender studies. The representatives of feminist theory were Maria Tatar, Marina Warner and Clarissa Pinkola Estés. Characteristic of the latter is feminist research with an explicit emphasis on archetypes. No pure theories exist, but rather each of the theories mentioned combines various perspectives. The motive of Beautiful Vida in Slovene young-adult literature is one of the most important national motives. In Slovene young-adult literature and in literature teaching the following texts are used: 1) the folk poem Young Vida (Ihan), 2) Beautiful Vida (France Prešeren), 3) Beautiful Vida in Action (Andrej Rozman Roza) and 4) the folk fairy tale The Prince and Beautiful Vida.



Helena Kuster: Kulturni transfer: vpliv nemškega jezikovno-kulturnega prostora na slovenski frazeološki sistem. Jezik in slovstvo. 6/2008. 57–68.
Vpliv nemškega jezikovno-kulturnega prostora na slovenski prostor se kaže tudi na področju frazeologije. V pričujočem prispevku se osredotočamo na tisti del frazeološkega izrazja v slovenskem jeziku, pri katerem je neposredna povezava z nemško kulturo najlaže dokazljiva. To so frazemi, ki izvirajo iz citatov kanoniziranih nemških avtorjev in njihovih literarnih del, ki ohranjajo svoj kanonični status v diahronem smislu tudi v slovenskem kulturnem prostoru. Habitualizacija izcitatnih frazemov in prenovitev le-teh je zgovoren dokaz za njihovo ukoreninjenost v kolektivno zavest. Primerljivost pojavnosti v obeh jezikovno-kulturnih prostorih s sinhronega vidika nakazuje transfer na modelni ravni.

Helena Kuster: Cultural Transfer: The Influence of the German Linguistic-Cultural Sphere on the Slovene Phraseology System. Jezik in slovstvo. 6/2008. 57–68.
The influence of the German linguistic-cultural sphere on the Slovene sphere is also evident in the field of phraseology. In the present article we focus on that part of phraseological lexical units in Slovene language whose direct connection with German culture is most easily demonstrated. These are phrases derived from citations from canonised German authors and their literary works, which also retain their canonic status in a diachronic sense in the Slovene cultural sphere. The habituation of cited phrases and their exploitations is clear proof of the fact that they are deeply rooted in the collective consciousness. The comparability of appearances in both of the linguistic-cultural spheres from a synchronous perspective demonstrates the transfer on the model level.



Simona Bergoč: Družbeni akterji in slovenska kulturna identiteta v medijskem diskurzu dveh obdobij. Jezik in slovstvo. 6/2008. 69–84.
V prispevku je predstavljena raziskava družbenih akterjev, ki so bili povezani s pojmovanji nacionalne kulture oz. posredno ali neposredno tudi nacionalnega jezika v kontekstu dveh večjih političnih pretresov slovenske državnosti, in sicer obdobja pred plebiscitom za odcepitev od večjezične in večnacionalne Jugoslavije (1990) in obdobja pred referendumom za priključitev k večjezični in večnacionalni Evropski uniji (2003). Družbeni akterji so analizirani kvantitativno v smislu njihove številčne pojavnosti, tj. večje ali manjše prisotnosti v polju javne komunikacije, ter kvalitativno v smislu načinov njihove reprezentacije ter diskurzivnih učinkov, ki jih specifični načini artikulacije evocirajo. Raziskava pokaže udeleženske okoliščine izjavljanja in problematiziranja kulturnoidentitetnih vprašanj ter učinkovanje ideologije jezikovnega ekskluzivizma v kontekstu daljnosežnih političnih odločitev.

Simona Bergoč: Social Actors and Slovene Cultural Identity in the Media Discourse of Two Periods. Jezik in slovstvo. 6/2008. 69–84.
The article presents research on the social actors who were linked with notions of national culture, and either directly or indirectly also with national language, in the context of two major political upheavals of Slovene nation forming: the period before the plebiscite for secession from the multilingual and multinational Yugoslavia (1990) and the period before the referendum for inclusion in the multilingual and multinational European Union (2003). The social actors are analysed quantitatively, in the sense of the number of their appearances - i.e., their lesser or greater presence in the field of public communication - as well as qualitatively, in the sense of their way of representation and the discursive effects that their specific ways of articulation evoke. The research demonstrates the participatory circumstances of declaring and taking issue with cultural-identity questions and the operation of the ideology of linguistic exclusivity in the context of wide-ranging political decisions.
